The Monte-Carlo Academy of Photographic Art organises the Monte-Carlo Photo Contest, an international photography competition held every year.

This contest, authorised by the authorities of the Principality of Monaco, is open to everyone.

 Different themes are chosen each year and the competition is open to amateur and professional photographers of all nationalities.

The Monte-Carlo Photo Contest takes place under the patronage of FIAP, the International Federation of Photographic Art, and follows its rules.

The results of the contest are officially recognised for the FIAP world ranking and distinctions.
